Hire me and you'll get the whole package. The real deal. Here's why:

I'm originally from the Midwest, but have lived in Mexico for the past ten years. During my time here, I've taught English as a second language, studied at a Mexican University for two years, earned a degree in Business and Accounting from DeVry University, and started my own business: freelance writing.

These days, I specialize in magazine writing and website copy.

I'm dedicated to my work, and aim to deliver copy that surpasses editors' expectations, time after time.

A few other facts about me:

- I've traveled extensively throughout Mexico. I've also trekked through Europe and the Middle East.

- I've shopped all over the world, from Macy's in NYC to the streets of London to the world's oldest active market in Aleppo, Syria. Yes, Syria. It was nice. I ate falafel.

- I've interviewed top CEO's of companies throughout Latin America.

- I've run two marathons and a bunch of other 5ks and 10ks.

- I met my husband at a taco stand.

- We went to Paris for our honeymoon. I now believe every couple should go there, at least once. Maybe twice.

- Mexico has really grown on me over the years. My two daughters were born here, which means they have both Mexican and U.S. citizenship.

- I'm fluent in Spanish, though I prefer to write in English.

Which brings me back to writing. Let's be honest. You're not going to find a lot of writers like me. But once we get started on a project, you'll be glad you did. I'm dedicated, hard-working, and deadline-driven. Oh, and I like to have fun. Contact me to discuss your writing needs.
